Carb-O-Nator® Contact Foliar Fungicide

Carb-O-Nator is a contact fungicide that controls foliar diseases on a wide variety of crops and ornamentals. Its unique multi-site activity provides quick control of fungal pathogens.

With its active ingredient, potassium bicarbonate, Carb-O-Nator is well-known for proven efficacy against plant disease coupled with a high level of safety to workers, bees, wildlife and the environment. Carb-O-Nator is an ideal selection for use in disease resistance management programs. It has a reentry interval (REI) of four hours, a zero-day pre-harvest interval and is residue exempt, making it a highly flexible fungicide to use. It is OMRI listed and NOP compliant.

Carb-O-Nator Mode of Action

Carb-O-Nator deploys a multi-site mode of action, acting through a combination of osmotic pressure, pH and specific ion effects. It acts very rapidly to cause dehydration and total collapse of spores and the mycelium of susceptible fungi.

Carb-O-Nator Applications

Time application of Carb-O-Nator at the first sign of disease.

Mix at a rate of 2.5 to 5.0 lbs./A in 100 gallons of water. Apply mixed spray solution to thoroughly wet stems and foliage of plants. Apply a minimum of 20 gallons of mixed spray solution per acre.

Concentration of spray solution and frequency of application will depend upon disease pressure. Repeat application at 10 to 14 day intervals or as needed.
